Which Bitcoin and Ethereum altcoins are the best and worst?
Crypto coins are now the best altcoins to buy, and the worst altcoins for beginners, according to CoinMarketCap.
The crypto-currencies have surged nearly 20% in value since their launch in mid-March, as investors and traders flock to the digital currency in hopes of making quick gains.
CoinMarketcap said on Wednesday that the crypto-currency is now valued at $14.7 billion, making it the second-highest crypto-cap of the year after the Ethereum Classic, which was launched in March.
The other best altcoin for beginners is the Litecoin, which has risen over 7% since the start of March.
Litecoin is priced at $8.9 billion.
CoinMarketCap also said that Bitcoin has risen to a market cap of $1.7 trillion, or nearly $2.3 billion a day.
This means it is the second most valuable cryptocurrency after Bitcoin, which is valued at more than $10.7.
While Ethereum Classic is the first cryptocurrency to be listed on CoinMarketCaps site, there are several other altcoins on the market that have been around for quite some time.
